To be eligible for this role, you must be within two years of certificate of completion of training at the start date of employment and have not previously held a substantive post as a General Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, enthusiastic GP. The successful candidate will deliver 7 sessions per week across three practices (who form part of Chorley Central PCN): Regent House Surgery Coppull Medical Centre Euxton Medical Centre our combined population is circa 20,000 patients. Exact work pattern to be further discussed. CPD entitlement will be factored in the work plan. In this role, you will join our team and deliver excellent clinical care to our patient population. We are a supportive team and encourage ongoing development. The successful candidate will have access to practice internal education sessions. As a salaried GP, your will play a crucial role in the provision of primary healthcare services. Undertake surgery consultations including face-to-face, digital, online, telephone The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population The provision of services commensurate with the primary care contract. Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance. Effective management of long-term conditions. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance Home visits - please note visits will be below average as all 3 sites has a first contact paramedic team Please refer to the job description for full details.
