The service provides the latest in evidence based NICE recommended psychological interventions to children, young people and their families experiencing mental health difficulties. You will be a highly motivated and innovative individual with extensive clinical experience of working with children, young people and their families with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. The focus of the work is on the provision of specialist psychotherapy assessment and treatment of our complex patients, as well as traumatised younger children in the care system. The post is advertised as full-time but it is possible to request a job share. They will be responsible for assessment, treatment and systematic outcome measures and the extensive clinical supervision and line management of staff. The successful candidate will be directly involved in delivering and supervising a range of therapeutic interventions, which may include parent work, group work, school observations of children, short term input and specialist psychotherapeutic treatments. They will be responsible for all specialist psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments within their professional sphere of expertise.
