You will need to effectively engage with your client group, peers and partner agencies in all elements of your role, leading by example and promoting a supportive and caring culture. You will manage and develop the Children's Community Services Team (5-19) and contribute to the development of services to deliver the commissioned service specification. You will be part of the multi-disciplinary team including the wider local children's workforce, working within a public health framework, to meet the prioritised health needs of children and families. You will have responsibility for delivery of the key performance indicators for a community of school aged children within an identified specific action plan. You will undertake responsibility as 'named nurse' for a Multi- Agency Team area and inclusive schools within a specified locality. You will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of health needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of intervention. To create and promote a positive learning environment for junior staff and students on placement. Whilst in this post, you will have an office base at Newholme Hospital and cover schools primarily in the Buxton area.
