Although based primarily at Bassetlaw General Hospital, there will be a requirement to cover across our three sites. Working hours will be subject to review as the service develops, therefore a flexible approach is essential. The post will involve working in an established team of Cardiac Physiologists providing high quality diagnostics across the cardiac pathways. You will work primarily in transthoracic echocardiography with an occasional requirement to rotate through general sections of the cardiology service including ambulatory ECG analysis, functional stress testing, and Tilt-Testing. Our department is an approved training centre for the National School of Healthcare Science and supports the training of a wide range of programmes including PTP, ETP, STP and apprentices. Continued professional and personal development is actively encouraged and the postholder will be given opportunities and supported to develop their own postgraduate skills alongside to contributing to the delivery of training within the service. Applicants should have a good level of experience in adult echocardiography/reporting, and be actively working towards BSE Level 2 accreditation.
