As an Specialist Pharmacist For Surgery, you will spend time in a patient facing role working on inpatient wards to support the delivery of a range of clinical services. Through a competency based program, you will gain experience and training in surgery, acute medicine, intensive care and nutrition, frailty, palliative care, governance and training, enhancing your advanced clinical skills and building your non-clinical skills. The Trust has a strong multidisciplinary approach with extended roles for non-medical staff. The successful candidate will be provided with the support of a well-established team, opportunities to develop and embed their careers, and to make a difference to patients' lives. To develop, deliver and evaluate the Clinical Pharmacy Service provided to the speciality assigned, with responsibility for business planning and staff management in line with pharmacy service level agreements and objectives set by the Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy Manager & Lead Clinical Pharmacist.
