Teaching Resuscitation related skills and practices in a variety of settings to all staff groups. Deliver pre-developed resuscitation skills training at levels one and two independently, and be able to assess clinicians in performing basic resuscitation skills. To participate in non-teaching duties such as undertaking emergency equipment audits, as guided by the Resuscitation officers To ensure the resuscitation teams resuscitation equipment is monitored quarterly using the available equipment log and maintained fully serviceable. To be a visible and approachable source of information, advice and support to all staff in relation to resuscitation training. Where appropriate, assist with management of medical emergencies when in the service environment. Ensure that risks are identified and communicated effectively to the department and services in relation to training events or audit findings and appropriately documented and shared with the wider team. Have a thorough understanding and be fully competent in using both training and operational resuscitation equipment particularly an automated defibrillator. This is a full time, permanent position. The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. The Resuscitation Training Team provide timely education, training and advice on resuscitation and recognition and management of patient deterioration to both clinicians and non-clinicians throughout the Trust. We are looking for a motivated person who can work flexibly either alone or as part of a team. The role will include teaching Emergency Life Support and Basic Life Support at our training venues in London and Milton Keynes. The role will also include undertaking audits and delivering simulations within wards and services across the Trust. The post holder will need to be a visible, approachable source of informion for all staff working in the Trust. "}
