Candidates must have GMC registration with a license to practice.The post holder will be based at Blossom Court in Haringey. The post holder will be joiningwell established multi-disciplinary teams which include consultant supervision and other doctors already in post. This is a 12 months fixed term post but there is a possibility of extension beyond this period depending on performance and service need. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the NHS to gain further psychiatricskills and to promote patient centred care in line with our Trust values. The post holder will be expected to work from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The post holder would be invited to join the on call rota or take ad hoc duties via the staff bank This is fixed term post which has become available due to service gaps. An induction will be provided to your placement explaining roles and responsibilities as well as your workplace. A Trust induction will also be provided after starting in your allocated post.The successful applicant(s) will work within their allocated post. The post will offer the opportunity to perform clinical assessments of individuals with mental health conditions, including mental state examination, history taking, physical health examination and attendance of meetings with the multidisciplinary team. About us The post holder will gain experience with the full spectrum of psychiatric morbidity. This post is based in a multidisciplinary setting and the post holder will work closely with all the members of the team (consultant, SAS doctors and doctors in training, nurses, health care assistances, psychologists, social workers & graduate mental health workers). The care delivered is recovery-focused, placing emphasis on individuals strengths and goals for the future. Ward duties include attending formulation/CPA meetings, reviewing patients on the ward for mental health and physical health concerns, risk ax. Liaising with pharmacy regarding medication queries. Completion of discharge summaries and ward round tasks. "}
