Halstead ward is a 20 bedded stand alone intermediate care unit. The unit is very friendly and welcoming with a great multidisciplinary team who work together with patients and their relatives/carers to support rehabilitations and safe discharges to the most appropriate location for them. The role of the ward sister/charge nurse is varied and a great development opportunity within a stand alone unit. You will support the Ward Manager with staff management, incident management, patient flow and roster management. You will provide clinical expertise and visible leadership whilst helping to create a positive patient experience.
