The post is for 15 hours working the set days of Thursday and Friday to compliment our existing administrator. The administrator role is paramount for the service. You will answer the telephone, complete non-clinical administrative duties and lead with inputting data for our essential audits and spreadsheets. You will work within a very supportive, experienced and friendly professional team and have senior nurse support to triage the referrals into the service. Act as main point of contact for patients/relatives/carers and other health care professionals. taking messages, signpost callers for non-clinical advice as appropriate, ensuring adherence to Caldecot guidelines. communicating in a compassionate and empathic but assertive manner as appropriate. Provide information to patients regarding community appointments and directing queries to the correct source. You will be liaising with the team members as appropriate to ensure an effective use of clinical time.
