To provide day to day operational management of Cancer Services, liaising effectively with cancer lead clinician, lead nurse and the trust operational leaders. Take a leading role in oversight and knowledge of cancer related requirements for the trust and network compliance, including assessment against current service specifications, SACT reporting, NICE quality statements, cancer waiting times requirements, COSD and national cancer data set requirements, data quality framework dashboard and the national cancer patient experience survey. Risk and Governance To work with trust Cancer leads to develop robust Governance arrangements, ensuring that systems and processes are established and followed. To maintain a culture which supports the delivery of the Quality and Safety Agenda, using evidence-based practice and research to support change. Work with cancer leads to implement the Trusts risk management strategy across cancer services, identifying and acting upon high risks within service areas. Ensure learning is shared with the wider team and promote team learning wherever possible.
