There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. To deliver a safe, effective, kind and and responsive nursing service to our patients, always recognising, and within, the confines of your own professional qualifications and capabilities. b. Offer advice about childhood and adult vaccinations and ensure vaccines are administered under patient group directions j. To provide NHS travel medicine services k. To implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for chronic disease patients that promote health and wellbeing l. To identify, manage and support patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects to patients health m. To support the team in dealing with clinical emergencies, including recognising and manage anaphylaxis and able to perform Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation all according to current UK guidelines s. To recognise, assess and refer patients presenting with mental health needs t. Ensures awareness of statutory and local clinical protection procedures, including systems of referral.
