To act as an independent practitioner who provides advice to patients and staff which contributes to Triage, utilising Manchester triage system, history taking, assessment, diagnosis, plan of care and treatment of patients. Possess and demonstrate extended skills in the management of a wide range of health care problems i.e. minor illness and injury. Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out clinical procedures. Responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration.
