Surgery, Women's and Children's Directorate Neonatal Unit Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner 8a Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours We have an opportunity for a qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) to join our team at Russells Hall Neonatal Unit, Dudley. We would welcome a motivated and enthusiastic ANNP who is able to work with our MDT to help drive our service towards the best care we can give to our babies and families. Advanced health assessments in participation with the multidisciplinary team. Attendhigh risk deliveries providing Neonatal Life Support Assist in the planning and transfer of neonates that require transfer to the appropriate unit Admit and discharge babies from NNU/TC. Manage babies requiring respiratory support with guidance from medical team. Perform enhanced clinical procedures ( e.g. intubation, central line insertion, chest drain insertion) . To facilitate the education of nursing and midwifery staff, medical staff, parents and other health care professionals involved with the care of the neonate Prescribe medications for neonates as a non medical prescriber(NMP) Facilitate change and evaluate to improve care for babies and families.
