We are looking for a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner or Childrens Wellbeing Practitioner to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an evolving service: Delivering evidence-based , early intervention for children and young people in education settings with mild to moderate mental health problems, working with a range of professionals to direct best practice, in a holistic, and child centred way. Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist servicesSupporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify mental health and wellbeing needs, promoting a Whole School Approach and embedding a positive ethos and attitude to mental health and wellbeing. The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is a new service available in certain Nottinghamshire schools . We have been a trailblazer site for the project and were the first site nationally to go live in December 2019. 1 full time post in the Balderton Primary Care Centre, Lowfield Lane, Newark, NG24 3HJ The team office base is at Balderton Primary Care Centre Newark.
