Highpoint Prison offers Free parking Free use of an on-site large gym Career Development / Training opportunities Hours This role is a permanent based on 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm with some weekends / Bank Holidays Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £42,094.00 £47,466.00 per annum FTE - depending on experience. Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course Competency framework Regional and national career development opportunities Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs Support from the wider team Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks As a Senior Learning Disability Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will Have responsibility for a caseload and be accountable for all aspects of delivering a nursing service for adults with learning disabilities/ challenging behaviour, within the criminal justice setting. Be working with adults whose behaviours have resulted in their offending and coming into contact with the criminal justice system Work with the multi-disciplinary team to undertake person centred specialist behavioural assessments, planning and co-ordination of positive non aversive behavioural approaches to service users.
