To act as a mentor, teaching and supervising junior staff including, student nurses, student midwives and health care support workers Medication administration - IV, IM, PR and orally. Performing observations on babies as required. IV venepuncture and cannulation. Taking of routine bloods and gases as required. Supporting with lumbar punctures. Breastfeeding support.
