We would like applicants who are interested in developing their leadership and educational skills, and able to support the DBTH Inter-Professional Standards. You will be an experienced nurse with clinical credibility and proven track record of service development and improvements in patient care. Applicants for this role will have a keen interest in caring for acutely unwell patients, combined with an ability to provide care in a compassionate and dignified manner. The post holder needs to work well within a team and be able to lead staff to maintain standards in line with Trust and NMC guidelines. The Sister/Charge Nurse will, by example and facilitation, guide, assist and empower nursing staff in fulfilling their professional role using research-based practice. Identify strengths and weaknesses of individual clinical practitioners and liaise with Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to construct an appropriate development programme.
