We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable qualified Looked After Children`s Nurse to join our caring and progressive team in Whitstable. Our LAC nursing service is commissioned across Kent and Medway to deliver health assessments for all children, placed in care, by Kent County Council and Medway Council. Clinics are held at multiple locations across the county. Health assessments are held six-monthly for children aged under five and yearly for those five and over. The Looked After Children's (LAC) Nurse will work as an integral part of amulti-agency service to provide a seamless pathway for the holistic care of Looked After Children in Kent. These children may be under the care of Kent, Medwayor another local authority, and will include unaccompanied asylum seeking children(UASC).
