The workload is varied and we do many complex scanning procedures, the department has three CT scanners and two MR scanners covering all aspects of cross sectional scanning, across both North Manchester Hospital and the CDC sites. The Cross sectional department consists of a friendly team who all rotate through North Manchester and CDC sites on a shift pattern rota, covering seven day / 24 hour working including on call The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an interest in Cross sectional scanning and have some experience of working in the Cross sectional environment, although full training will be given to the right candidate. The Cross sectional department at North Manchester General is very busy and we scan a lot of patients from all areas of the hospital. You will need to work with a large team of Radiographers including Radiologists, Radiology Assistants and Interventional Nurses.
