Working as a member of the MDT you will be working in hospital-based clinics in the two localities and will also provide some outreach work into schools or family homes undertaking psychological assessments including management and treatment for children as required. The service provides comprehensive care to approximately 320 children and young people (age 0-19 years) with diabetes. This will involve providing direct specialist psychological assessment and therapy, as well as clinical supervision, advice, and consultation to colleagues on psychological aspects of assessment, formulation, care and treatment.
