More detail about the role The Medical Equipment Management (Clinical Engineering) department is seeking an enthusiastic member to join our technical team that supports maintenance functions across the Trust located at the RD&E. Working across the Acute and Community sites supporting the wide variety of medical equipment used throughout the clinical areas. This position is being offered as an apprenticeship role, with ongoing support for a Clinical Engineering apprenticeship. If you are someone who relishes working across multiple engineering disciplines Electronics/IT/Digital/Mechanical/Physics then this is the career for you. The Department actively supports technical and personal development via external technical training courses and Trust training avenues, including Continuous Professional Development opportunities. The successful candidate will possess good technical aptitude and be an excellent communicator, working closely with other teams within MEM. They will possess good organisational skills will be expected to work and support multiple workstreams and changing priorities giving feedback and updates to team senior staff. They will be working directly with clinical staff, maintaining a professional relationship whilst undertaking their tasks.
