Belmarsh is a Category A High security male prison based in Woolwich in South East London. It houses 792 patients and has 48 single cells. Hours Flexible - Monday - Sunday 0900 - 1700 Salary This position is Bank youll receive an annual salary up to £ 25.50 per hour weekdays and £28.35 at weekdays. How will we support you? Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course Competency framework Regional and national career development opportunities Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs Support from the wider team Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks As a Senior Learning Disabilities Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will respond as directed by the Mental Health Team Manager in the day to day operational functioning of the Mental Health team. Have responsibility for a caseload and be accountable for all aspects of delivering a nursing service for adults with learning disabilities/ challenging behaviour, within the criminal justice setting. Working with adults whose behaviours have resulted in their offending and coming into contact with the criminal justice system. You will be working with the multi-disciplinary team to undertake person centred specialist behavioural assessments, planning and co-ordination of positive non aversive behavioural approaches to service users.
