This new ward has a large footprint and includes twelve isolation cubicles with ensuite facilities, two of which are designated for high dependency care, and three four bedded bays. The paediatric services at The Hillingdon Hospital consists of a 24-bedded general medical and surgical ward, which includes a level 1 POSCU, 5-bedded paediatric day care unit, a four bedded day surgical ward, and a paediatric outpatients department. Paediatric services at Hillingdon also included of our award winning, dedicated paediatric diabetes team; paediatric respiratory and allergy services; paediatric oncology and paediatric epilepsy service and level 1 HDU service. We also have close links with our paediatric community nursing team; paediatric emergency department; PATCH service, neonatal unit and child development centre.
