Maintenance Carry out and plan routine maintenance across the site. The post holder will also carry out reactive maintenance which will involve resolving minor maintenance tasks that arise which dont require attendance from a fully qualified contractor or provide temporary solutions until such time the contractor arrives. Example of Tasks: Unblocking Sinks/Drains/WCs, Putting up Shelving, Small Painting/Decorating tasks, Grit Spreading (inclement weather), Moving Furniture Identifying any faults at sites that may need further inspection from a qualified contractor Maintain and order stock that are required for the department Supports new starters with site induction Supports Facilities and Compliance manager and with site surveys and audits Administration Carry out basic administration tasks. The Post Holder will be required to carry out basic administration tasks such as setting up rooms for meetings and photocopying. Digital and Information Action digital request on internal Action Point System. The post holder will be required to check the internal Action Point system to action request such as ordering stock or attending maintenance requests. Reporting Ability to report findings to manager. The post holder to be able to report findings from tasks to Facilities Manager verbally and via email. Compliant with all policies applicable to the role and to report any changes to the policies and procedures that may arise in undertaking daily tasks. Processes information on work records when required. The post holder will carry out planned and reactive maintenance around the site which would not require the attention of a fully qualified tradesperson. The post holder will also monitor the front desk and carry out minor administrative tasks. Working under the supervision of the Facilities Manager. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works across site and other associated minor tasksto ensure a safe environment for all attendees at site.
