An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time level 2, experienced social worker in the Stafford adult social care team, the post will be a temporary appointment for 12 months to cover maternity leave. The position is within the older persons with physical disability team which is a community-based team working with Adults over 18 years of age with a range of physical and Mental health needs. This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams/agencies in addressing a range of care/support issues in the promotion of independence and improving the health and wellbeing of the population served. As a level 2 social worker, you will hold at least 2 years post qualifying experience. You will have responsibility for your own case load and will work on a range of cases involving assessment, support planning, mental capacity Act assessments, appointeeships and deputyship referrals.
