You will be part of a dedicated team of procurement professionals responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of business critical commercial contracts and framework agreements for the provision of goods and services to NHSBT. You will work with the Senior Buyers, Senior Commercial Managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage the contracts end to end, to ensure that all interested parties needs are met. You will be responsible for assisting the team managers in delivering contracts that are robust, free from risk, legally binding and importantly cost efficient and effective. Ensuring that NHSBT can demonstrate to the public through the scrutiny of internal and external audit, that it obtains best value for money on its contracted non-pay expenditure and achieves savings targets. You will ensure compliance with Public Contract Regulations including the legally mandated directives, policy notes and NHSBT Standing Orders and Financial Instructions You will be part of a dedicated team of procurement professionals responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of business critical commercial contracts and framework agreements for the provision of goods and services to NHSBT. You will be required to support the Procurement Management Team to ensure our customers receive the goods and services they need in a timely manner, resolving and expediting queries as they arise. thus guaranteeing that the blood supply to our hospital customers is not at risk.
