Our friendly, supportive team are looking for an organised and highly motivated individual with great communication and interpersonal skills. The successful post holder will play a key role in providing the necessary information to inform the senior management team and the wider organisation and other stakeholders. The ability to build good working relationships with a range of staff and understand NHS organisational structures will be key along with strong analytical skills and experience. This role provides various elements relating to medicine data support, including coordination of audits, data capture and analysis in the department, as well as using systems to allow the senior team an enhanced understanding of drug usage. There will also be the opportunity to work alongside our existing technicians and pharmacists at ward level to maintain and improve clinical skills and assist in supporting new starters with the induction process. Essential skills: Analytical ability for problem solving. Good statistical skills, e.g. able to analyse and present data, identify trends Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software packages. Good ability to analyse drug usage reports. Good personal organisation and time management skills Use of presentation and projection multi-media equipment. Willingness to learn and expand knowledge on new IT systems Ideally, this role is based over a 5-day (Mon-Fri) working week; however, there may be some flexibility. Working pattern & base to be agreed at interview. There is no expectation to take part in dispensing duties, or work evenings, weekends, or bank holidays.
