The post is for a Consultant Obstetrician with a specialist interest in Fetal Medicine, to join a team of 4 fetal medicine Consultants within a level 2 specially commission unit. You will be part of a team of 27 Consultants that provide care within the Directorate of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The post-holder will be required to provide the full range of obstetric skills which are based around Fetal Medicine, such as managing the Labour Ward, Antenatal clinics (including Rainbow clinic), Section Lists, and Maternity Assessment Unit in collaboration with existing consultants and within the multi-disciplinary team. The post will have 2 sessions per week of Fetal Medicine scanning and time allocated for Scan Simulation training lead. Clinical Duties will be across both the Royal Stoke and County Hospital Sites with a total of 10.572 PA's.
