The role will be to provide support for the nurses in the care of patients while in the acute and recovering phase of their illness. This involves, under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse, assessment of medical patients. Daily tasks meeting the patients personal care needs, whilst assessing their observations, taking bloods, cannulation, performing ECGs and any other health care directed tasks as needed. You should have previous experience of working in a health care setting and be proactive and adaptable to change. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be committed to working as part of a team which provides excellent patient care. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our team in this dynamic and busy department, as we continue to develop patient led services and expand roles that reflect the on-going changes. The successful candidate will be fully supported in becoming an integral member of the team. which will be supported robustly by our in house professional development team. This role also provides you with an excellent opportunity to use and develop your existing skills.
