Answering, navigating and forwarding incoming phone calls, using a complex appointments system, in a large office, with many interruptions. Signposting patients to the most appropriate service. Greeting patients at a busy reception. Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email. Performing other clerical duties such as emailing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Accepting, issuing, and handing out letters, completed forms, specimen bottles. Advising patients of practice procedures. Handing out dispensed medication to patients when required.
