We work closely with our partners in Portsmouth where there are opportunities for shared learning, and MDT working. Working with colleagues at both St. Marys Hospital and the Queen Alexandra Hospital, contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and high-quality Hyper-acute, Acute and Stroke Rehabilitation Service. 2. Manage their time and prioritise and time-manage effectively in response to departmental activity. Take a critical approach to own medical practice, looking for opportunities to make improvements in the care of patients and share with others. 3. Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients who present with Stroke and Stroke mimic symptoms and appropriate referral to other clinical and non-clinical colleagues including primary care colleagues, as appropriate. 4. Manage hyper acute Stroke including the delivery of thrombolysis to patients in line with protocols. 5. Undertake trans-ischaemic and outpatient clinics and ward work as per job plan collaborating with colleagues in relation to progressing patient care from admission to discharge. 6. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings as scheduled in the job plan. 7. Undertake the clinical supervision of junior medical and other clinical staff sharing specialist knowledge and expertise. 8. Engage in medical audit and other clinical effectiveness activities, the Trusts Clinical Governance processes and in CPD is provided in job plans and attendance at audit and other governance meetings is mandatory. 9. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary colleagues across the Partnership to deliver effective clinical care, looking for continuous improvement in line with clinical strategy. 10.
