An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Service Development and Integration Senior Manager within the Age Well portfolio on a permanent basis within NCL ICB's Strategy and Population Health Directorate. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong drive to improve population health for NCL's 1.7m residents by delivering a more proactive model of care closer to people's homes, and recognises the strategic significance of community services in achieving this. Candidates should have a passion for improving health system productivity, ensuring financial sustainability for the NHS and cultivation of wider socio-economic externalities. They should also be motivated by driving improvements in health equity and aligning resources to need. This role will focus on enabling the delivery of a core offer for community services within NCL, overseeing system-wide transformation priorities ensuring all change projects and programmes of work are managed in line with best practice project and programme management principles. A key responsibility will be to support providers to identify, deliver and quantify both provider productivity and system productivity plans to support the ICS in meeting its challenging financial and operational improvement targets as part of implementing the 'core offers'. The candidate will also need to have an ability to interpret national policy for implementation and develop innovative analytical approaches to enabling the expansion of out of hospital services across NCL and communicate effectively at CEO level meetings.
