As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard. As a UK registered medical professional, with a listing on the Specialist GMC register, we will support you with your ongoing CPD and career development. You will be part of a team providing an onsite orthopaedic surgical service to meet the needs of patients treated at the Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth. The centre hosts a day surgery unit and out patients department which offers minor orthopaedic procedures. Whilst a typical Full Time working week will comprise 40 hours (8 PAs), working patterns will be flexible over primarily a Monday to Saturday rota. You will be required to perform orthopaedic surgical procedures and clinics on patients referred to the Hospital, including: Joint surgery: Primary knee arthroplasty Primary hip cemented & hybrid Primary hip uncemented Minor orthopaedic surgery to include: Arthroscopy of the knee Joint aspiration and/or injection and other Minor Musculoskeletal procedures Other minor procedures possibly including forefoot surgery About us UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + make a difference for every patient A range of exciting opportunities have arisen to join our Multi-discipline medical team.
