This position is based at Walton Community Hospital supporting Thames Community Nursing Team. The Community Nursing administration role is a busy and fast paced service enabling the community nurses increased capacity to support patients in the community and their carers by providing direct nursing care. The Community Nurses and Administration work as a team. They work closely with GPs, Social Services, hospitals, specialist nurses (eg respiratory, continence, wound nurses), Continuing Care nurses, Hospices and voluntary agencies to ensure patients needs are fully met. UK Visa and Immigration Sponsorship: Please note that we do not offer UKVI sponsorship for these posts, and so all applicants require a current right to work in the UK. There is a future plan for the Community Nursing Administration to cover a 7 day a week service. There will be an expectation of the successful candidate to be available to work weekends & bank holidays if/where required. The post-holder will need good written and verbal communication, strong IT skills, and inter-personal and administration skills with the ability to work flexibly within a challenging environment. A proactive can do attitude is required and a commitment to high quality, recognising the benefits of creativity and adaptability.
