Our department includes three Obstetrictheatres one elective and two acute theatres. The successful candidates will be part of a well established team, responsible for providing high quality anaesthetic and surgical care and support in a safe and efficient environment. The role involves working on a rotational shift basis, including nights, on-call duties, and weekends. While the contracts are for the generic theatre department, the majority of the work will be based within Obstetric theatres. As a Registered Nurse or ODP (Operating Department Practitioner) in our Maternity Theatres team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of care for women undergoing clinical or peri-operative procedures. Your responsibilities will include: Providing expert care during both elective and emergency maternity theatre cases, ensuring a safe and efficient environment. Delivering compassionate post operative care to women, ensuring their recovery and well-being. Collaborating closely with the Department Manager, Matron, and a multi-disciplinary team to uphold and maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring that patient safety and comfort are always prioritised. Your role will be essential in supporting the delivery of exceptional maternity care, where your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will directly impact the well-being of patients.
