An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Nurse to join the Emergency Department as a Sister/Charge Nurse As a Charge Nurse/Sister you will be instrumental in ensuring the application of effective clinical practice of all staff so patients receive the highest possible standard of care. Ensure that care delivered to patients within the department is monitored and within expected standards of care. An emphasis on the role is not only managing areas of the department but supporting the Band 7 Team Leaders to support the management of staff and the wider department. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with multidisciplinary team. The ability to lead and supervise members of the Nursing team, providing guidance and support as needed. You will have strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide evidence-based care You will be able to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that standards of care are consistently maintained and provide expert clinical advice to ensure appropriate treatment and care is delivered to the patient at all times You will also work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
