The job role will provide patients with the necessary information for their up-coming two week rule appointment following the referral from the GP. To provide efficient administration support to the current Booking Administrator / admin support to the wider team. To deliver effective administration of general office duties, supporting the referral process to ensure patients receive the most appropriate appointment, which should reflect the clinical needs of the patient, the earliest appointment availability to meet NHS targets and uphold organisational values. The role is pivotal to the effective management of all Elective and Planned Surveillance, Rapid Access targets.
