Duties will include: o Assisting with transferring patients to and from radiology. o Welcoming all patients and service users to the department. o Completing administrative processes and supporting patient flow through the department. o Booking patients in for their examinations and directing patients to the relevant waiting areas. o Answering telephone queries. o Preparing examination rooms and equipment. o Assisting the Radiologists, Radiographers and Radiology Nurses during procedures. The successful candidate is expected to work across our 3 hospital sites, including St Albans City Hospital. Working hours include weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. The duties and responsibilities of the post holder are to be an effective member of the Radiology team, providing a high standard of service to our patients and Radiology staff colleagues. This post is ideal for strong communicators who enjoy being part of a close-knit team, whilst maintaining wider professional relationships with many disciplines within the hospital. About us To provide direct patient care, maintenance of equipment and administrative duties including reception and clerical tasks, to ensure a high quality of service for patients. The post holder will help maintain the professional standards of the department and undertakes a range of delegated radiography-related duties.
