They will also attend a variety of clinics including Dialysis (Haemodialysis and PD) Transplantation: acute and chronic clincis, transplant assessment clinic Low clearance general and sub-speciality nephrology e.g. vasculitis, lupus,. Nephrotic syndrome. Opportunities will also be available to attend other clinics Tubular Stone disease Maternal nephrology Amyloid (Natinal Amyloid Centre) Difficult hypertension HIV nephrology Uronephrology. They will have the opportunity to perform native and transplant renal biopsies under consultant supervision and will be expected to participate in the registrar on call and night shift rota, for which they will be paid a supplement accordingly. The appointee will have full access to the extensive academic and educational programmes that the department offers. The clinical department works in collaboration with the UCL Centre for Nephrology. Research opportunities are offered by several groups with established interests in renal tubular pathophysiology and stones, renal genetics, renal bone disease, cardiovascular disease, dialysis, autoimmunity and fibrosis. Renal Medicine (ST3+ equivalent) Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint senior clinical fellows to join our renal department. You will be part of a team providing both inpatient and outpatient care to patients with the full spectrum of kidney diseases and be able to participate in a full range of educational opportunities present within the department. The post offers an excellent opportunity to join a centre of excellence for Renal Medicine training. The appointee will join a team of Renal Medicine Specialist Registrars in the Renal Department of the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust. This is a tertiary referral, academic renal unit providing renal services to North Central London. The post offers excellent clinical experience in dialysis, transplantation, chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury (AKI). "}
