As a Trainee Clinical Photographer you will provide support to the Department of Clinical Photography & Illustration (DCPI). Contributing to the delivery of a day-to-day operational cost effective and efficient service including clinical photography, non-clinical photography, video and illustration (graphic design), to the Trust and other allied agencies. The Trainee Clinical Photographer supports all clinical specialities including Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, Oral Surgery, ENT and Paediatrics (including sudden infant death and non-accidental injury), taking photographs in the studio, operating theatres, mortuary, outpatient clinics and on the wards. Illustration (graphic design) and video have now become a major part of the DCPI's remit, and the Clinical Photographer will be expected to fully participate in this work using industry standard software e.g. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
