Flexible working and part home or remote working can be accommodated. As a Clinical Coding Liaison Specialist you will have full line management responsibilities of the clinical coders and support staff, that can include but not limited to: - Planning and organising workloads, supporting staff well-being, appraisals and one to one conversation's, welcome back health meetings, absence management policies and performance management. To be considered for this role, you must be an Accredited Clinical Coder along with strong leadership skills. The Clinical Coding Liaison Specialist has the responsibility to lead on engagement & collaboration with the clinical groups. To communicate complex coding rules, standards, and information to ensures the coded data accurately reflects the clinical care provided. The post holder will ensure accurate, timely and robust coded data to support the Organisations data, and correct reimbursement through NHS Payment Systems. The post holder will work closely with clinical colleagues to advise on data recording and documentation practices to ensure clinical coding and data quality principles are adhered too. The post holder will work as part of the central coding team alongside other coders and additionally with other liaison specialist as part of a more expert team sharing knowledge and providing support.
