You will be working closely with our Practice Manager, deputising in their absence and will be jointly responsible for the GP Surgery performance and quality standards, as well as managing data quality issues, providing advice and guidance to all practice staff in the use of the clinical system. You will have the responsibility for the process for work undertaken as part of enhanced national or local services, while also acting as the Practice Administrator for the clinical system and as Practice Co-ordinator for IT hardware issues, working closely with the CCG and Shared Services. You will need to have the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy and think on your feet to deal with enquiries and make day-to-day decisions without referral to the line manager, who will be available to assist with the more complicated issues.
