In this role, you will work with several homecare providers, and will collaborate with various multi-disciplinary teams, communicating effectively to ensure homecare services at LTH are provided to an exceptional standard. Cross site working is essential for this role The postholder will provide a variety of duties in this job role, the main duty will be processing homecare prescriptions for both adults and paediatric patients across multiple therapy areas. This will include liaising with pharmacists, technicians, other healthcare professionals and homecare providers on a daily basis. You will work closely with the homecare invoicing team to help resolve invoice queries. You will support the specialist technician and the homecare assistant practitioners with various aspects of homecare including training new staff, implementing new homecare services, homecare processes and standard operating procedures. You will also support with audits, data collection, and monitoring and maintaining pharmacy databases in relation to homecare services. About us Job Description Text Perform a variety of pharmacy support duties, some of which may be patient facing. These include stock management, dispensing and/or preparation of medicines in a designated area of MMPS which may include dispensary, aseptic facilities, warehouse and dispensary support rooms at ward level. Day to day supervision of Pharmacy Services Assistants and Pharmacy Porters to ensure service delivery in relevant area of MMPS There may also be distribution duties including the movement of goods and a requirement for general housekeeping duties.
