Provisional Interview Date 23rd January 2025 An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Registered Nurse for the role of Clinical Educator for the Cardiology ward within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. This post has been created to lead and develop services to facilitate and enhance the Cardiology staff development. This post is based in clinical practice and involves working directly with patients, relatives and clinicians. The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. It provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and is a base for nursing and medical education, training and research. The Trust comprises of four hospitals - the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and the Horton Hospital in Banbury. The Clinical Educator for Cardiology ward will provide inspirational leadership for nurse-led care in Cardiology and staff development within the Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Trust. The post holder will be an expert nurse within Cardiology, leading and developing practice, promoting and improving quality of care for patients. The post holder will be responsible for providing high level expert advanced practice through leadership, consultation, clinical advice, teaching and mentorship/support for staff.
