In addition, you will also work within our chemotherapy satellite and Community Services team on a rotational basis. We are looking for a registered pharmacy technician (GPhC) with relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting, strong organisational skills, and a passion for patient-centred care. With a patient-focused approach, you will: - Support the pharmacy department in the provision of complete pharmaceutical care to patients. - Deliver a high-quality ward-based medicines optimisation service to a multitude of areas throughout the Trust. - Act as a role model and provide training and mentoring to junior staff members. - Support the main pharmacy dispensary where required. - Carry out accuracy checking commitments. - Carry out duties within the chemotherapy satellite and Community Services team on a rotational basis. Key Person Specification Requirements: - A nationally recognised pharmacy technician qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. - Currently practicing as a registered pharmacy technician with at least one year's post-qualification experience - A nationally recognised accredited accuracy checking qualification. - A professional attitude with the ability to motivate self and others. - The ability to remain calm under pressure. - A flexible approach and commitment to accommodate the needs of the service. - A strong attention to detail. - Experience working as a clinical pharmacy technician or similar capacity.
