The introduction of General Practitioners to the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme provides an exciting opportunity for the PCN to employ a General Practitioner who completed their CTT no more than 2 years before the start date of their employment to work alongside our practice and PCN staff. We are seeking 2 - 3 GPs to work part time to support our health care service meet the care needs of our patient population over the winter period. The successful applicants may be expected to work in more than one PCN practice. Your role will be that of an autonomous general practitioner working independently with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting. You will be expected to provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues whilst maintaining clinical excellence - and to be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct, ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary. The successful candidate will be available to undertake a variety of duties which will include - but may not be limited to - consultations with patients in all formats - face to face, telephone, online. Checking signing and authorising repeat prescriptions and dealing with the routine practice workload of queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner. "}
