HMP Peterborough is a local Category B prison. It is England's only dual purpose-built prison for men and women, including a mother and baby unit, who are kept separate at all times. The prison is located in the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and accommodates up to 360 female and 868 adult male prisoners. We are a warm and friendly team who pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care. The post holder will work as an active member of the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of a legal, safe, high quality pharmaceutical service, which includes physical health, mental health and substance misuse medications to patients within HMP Peterborough. The successful candidates will have responsibility for completing accurate medicines reconciliations, the safe and timely administration of medication and general responsibilities relating to medicine management, ensuring a complete medicines management service is provided to the patients.
