Duties will include check inclusion and exclusion criteria and taking informed consent and will need to be up to date with GCP training. Attendance at National (such as BSH) and potentially International (such as ASH and EHA) meetings and other appropriate educational meetings is encouraged. Provision of a first class clinical service. Conduct clinical practice in accordance with the highest ethical and clinical governance standards. Provide support to other clinical specialities. Contribute to education and training of undergraduates, post graduates and staff members. Participate in multidisciplinary team and clinical governance meetings. Interpret and report laboratory investigations and provide advice to clinical colleagues. Provide continuing responsibility for their patients, in partnership with colleagues.
