To deliver planned care to a group of patients working within the standards of proficiency outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and in accordance with Trust policies and protocols To demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide support/guidance to less experienced staff/learners within the clinical environment as needed Manage a defined group of patients/service users under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, using evidence based/client centred principles to undertake a range of delegated tasks independently Contribute to the ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient/service user care, and escalate to senior registered practitioner as appropriate To promote health and prevent ill health in service users, contributing to integrated care To take responsibility for planned/defined tasks as require To plan and undertake clinical tasks guided by standard operating procedures and protocols, within the limitations of the Registered Nursing Associate role.
