Please refer the attached Job Description for details A unique opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Specialty Doctor position in a leading child and adolescent eating disorder service. The SWL St George's Eating Disorders Service has a national and international reputation as a centre of excellence in treatment of eating disorders. The Children and Young Persons Community Eating Disorders Service (CYP-CEDS) is the specialist community eating disorder service for children and young people aged up to 18y. The team is highly specialist, with a particular focus on formulation-driven, evidence-based, NICE-concordant treatment, collaborative working with service users, families and partner agencies. Experience of working in child and adolescent mental health and eating disorders would be desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate without such experience will be trained and developed to meet the needs of the role. The post will be based on site at Springfield Hospital, with the possibility of some visits to nearby St George's Hospital. The post holder will be joining a growing, dynamic, highly specialist, multi-disciplinary team. They will contribute specialist knowledge and skills in medical and psychiatric assessment and treatment and be well supported by highly specialist psychiatric and paediatric consultants, as well as highly specialist clinical psychologists, family therapists, eating disorder nurses and nurse therapists, dietitians, physician associate, assistant psychologists, and admin staff.
